This packet includes everything you need to post the CC standards you are teaching in your classroom. The packet includes 5 different color schemes to choose from for your posters and includes math, LA, Science, and SS Common Core Standards for 2nd grade. The standards are worded in "I can..." language with active verbs so that the students can verbalize the standards that they are working on. Simply print, laminate, cut out and add Velcro so that you can easily switch them out. Adorable clip art and color make these visually appealing. This product was made with the fab Deanna Jump's permission!

I've not had this problem before, so I have to assume it's on the other end. Try to download on a different computer if possible or try again after deleting anything you might have "unzipped". Since it is a zipped file, you have to have a program for unzipping

Rachel, I'm really loving this product, and I'm so excited to have my first observation so my principal can see your standards on the board! I do have a question for you, though. Our district math coordinator wants us to have the Standards of Mathematical Practice posted as well. I am so excited about the Common Core Posters!!!!!! I purchased them and as I was putting them together I noticed that standard RL 2.8 and RI 2.1 are not there. I wasn't sure if I was missing something. I taught first grade last year so I am somewhat familiar with the 1st grade standards... the 2nd grade ones are ALL new to me :) Thank you for your help!

Just opened these to print them, and some of mine have blank spots. For example, the entire math folder looks great until you get to the last one and then I see part of the pizza for fractions. The standard is not there. The LA is fine, but the Sc and SS are sketchy. I'm on a Mac so that could be causing an issue???

We are now required to write "learning intentions" on the board for each subject. I believe these will be similar to the common core standards. After the learning intention, we are to write - "I know I will be successful when I can....." Do you think I will be able to use your materials as a template and adapt to them to my needs. Also do you know if different states common core standards are somewhat similar.

The file is a pdf, so you cannot edit it. Also, all states that have adopted common core and just that...common. But it only applies to math and language arts (reading, writing, word study)

Just purchased the Common Core Standards Posters for 2nd grade! WAs so excited to find them as we are required to have these posted in our rooms. I have a monkey theme and will want to print posters with the jungle theme. As I scroll down and view them I only see the title posters with jungle animals. Will the standards have animals on them or will it print with the kids? Want to print correctly the first as to not waste the color ink. Thanks so much.

Only the subject pages are themes. There is only one set of standards. When you print make sure to just print the subject theme you need then print the standards pages to save color ink.

I have just bought your Common Core Standards Posters. I am wondering if these standards for each day or one poster if for the whole week of teaching. Let's say I am teaching fractions Monday, I would need a standard for that day, I am now teaching fractions on Tuesday I now need a new standard for Tuesday.
Is this how they are typed up or are theses standards based on a weekly basis. For example you would be able to leave the same poster up until that unit was over, for possibly 5 days. At my school we have to change them every day.
Is this how they are typed up or are theses standards based on a weekly basis. For example you would be able to leave the same poster up until that unit was over, for possibly 5 days. At my school we have to change them every day.

I personally would change mine up for what I am teaching that day. Our Math adoption changes very frequently and spirals, so I need to post 2-3 daily. I can fit 2 goals on the page. ANOTHER option would be to not use the subject pages and just hang the goals on the board.

This is the first time I have ever purchased a download...and I have NO CLUE as to what I'm doing!!! Please help! I accidently ordered the 2nd grade printed standards twice!!! Then I've downloaded them...and have no clue as to where to find them!!! OMG...I am sorry to be so ignorant, but I am! I was on my laptop when I ordered them...I promise I am a real teacher and not a 2nd grade student! lol Hope to hear from you soon!

Oh no! I bet when you downloaded them they saved in your temp. Folder. Just go to.download aging and when you do choose open. Then save on your desktop. If you still have trouble i can email you the file.
