The packet includes 5 different color schemes to choose from for your posters and includes all of the Common Core Standards for Kindergarten. The standards are worded in YOUR CHOICE of "I can..." or "We can..." language so that the teacher can verbalize to the students the standards that they are working on. Simply print the version you want to use (I can or we can), laminate, cut out and add velcro so that you can easily switch them out. Adorable clip art and color make these visually appealing. I can't tell in the pictures of the product on the right side of the page, but do you have the standard number on each sheet with the "I Can/We Can" statements? We are required to post the standard number along with the standard.

Hi Deanna,
I was just wondering if your standards are broken down into the "sub-standards" that show growth until the skill is mastered? For example the first quarter counting standard is K.CC.1.a Count orally by ones to at least 30, second quarter is K.CC.1.c Count orally by ones to at least 60, and third quarter is K.CC.1.e Count orally to 100 by ones. Also, is the official common core wording listed on them as well, or just the "kid friendly" wording?

Your posters look great! Do you consider them to have equal representation of children of color? Also do your posters support English Language Learners with pictures where applicable? My kindie class has multiple cultures represented; Vietnamese, African, White, Arabic, Latino and African American and 65% are second language learners. Thanks!

Love these posters! In your pictures it looks like they were printed in a landscape format. When
I print them out they print out in portrait and don't look as big as yours do. Is there something I need to do for it to print out like yours? Thanks!

Hey Deanna! Love, love, love the common core posters! I was wondering if you have already or are going to create posters for the "8 standards for the mathematical practices" that go along with the math common core? For example....1.Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them, 2. Reason abstractly and quantitatively. etc. Our district is requiring to make sure that we are focusing on the practices as much as the content...would love your help on this!

I have the "Essential Questions for Kindergarten Set" of posters. In that set, you show the posters hung with a ribbon. In the picture of your example it says "Kindergarten Performance Standards" and it gives the following examples: Letter Sound Relationships, How Print Works, Adding Details, etc. Where would I find this set? I love your standards pack! Unfortunately our district does not allow the common core wording for our goals. We need to use "We will understand" or "We will be able to" marzano wordings. Do you have this file in a format where I could change the wording (.doc, .pub)?
