Common Core Language Standard L.3.2d : Form and use possessives.

This three-page printable was written to address the above Common Core standard. It is different from most mini-lessons in that it includes explanation and practice with both possessive nouns AND possessive pronouns (mine, yours, his, etc) in a mixed practice format.
There is an introductory section with rules and examples for both possessive nouns and possessive pronouns which is followed by three exercises. In Exercise 1 students underline noun and pronoun possessives in a set of 15 sentences. In Exercise 2 they put apostrophes in the correct place for possessives in 10 sentences. In the final exercise students complete 12 sentences by writing the possessive form of the noun or pronoun in parenthesis. Answers are provided.
