In this document, I have an ENTIRE year's worth of CCSS objectives for Math, Reading, and Language Arts, paced out by each week in the school year. Each week is labeled 1.1 (Quarter 1 week 1), 1.2 (Quarter 1, Week 2), etc... There is also a blank place for you to enter specific dates, hoildays, testing days, etc... Enjoy!!
Also...on each Reading pacing guide I have also paced out units for Project Read. If you do not use Project Read you can just erase this.
Coming soon....assessments that correlate with the pacing guides :)
Thank you for the pacing guide. This is our first year with ccss. And the district threw us in head first without support like this. You have helped make more sense for me!

Really not what I needed but will give me some ideas.
Thank you. I know this was a huge amount of work. I tweaked it a little to fit our needs, and will be modifying as we go... Thanks for making it in Word and editable!

Wish it had all ELA together but the math is great!
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that there is one column empty. This column is for you to type in the actuall dates of the weeks that you will teach the skill. I left this blank intentionally so that you can have an original to use year after year, since the dates will be changing. Also, I took into consideration that all teachers will have different holidays, vacation days, etc... so, if I were to have put dates in the boxes, you may not be in school that week and vise versa. I did label each objective to be taught with 1.1, 1.2, 1.3...etc (quarter 1 week 1...etc...). Now, if there are any empty rows, they will be marked with a ". This means that the objective located above that will be taught again that week, since there are some objectives that may need more than one week to be taught. I hope this helps explain any blank areas.

This is such a great resource, I can't wait to implement it. However, is there any way you can send me a pdf version of the document? The formatting is crazy when I try to open the doc.
I am sorry , but I am not able to make pdf. I made this as a word document that is editable. Are you opening it in Word? I can email you the oringinal...this may help. Let me know. Thank you!
Thanks for the idea! I have many flipcharts and centers that align with the pacing guide. I'll see if I can't bundle them into some sort of packet. Follow me and watch for updates. Thank you!

Doesn't spiral enough for me. Some things seem to be introduced kind of late.
Hi! The pacing guide is set up to show when I introduce a new skill. All skills are still taught spirally. Also, the pacing guide is editiable, so I hope you make changes according to your need. Thank you for your concerns. I hope this extra info helps.

Have you ever thought of making a editable check list like this one http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Kindergarten-Common-Core-ELA-Pacing-Guide-Checklist-Editable
I would love love love that! I know a lot of others would too.
Thanks for the idea! I'm currently working on my National Board, ahhh, so I don't have a lot of free time right now. This summer I could make one for sure!

just downloaded your 1st grade pacing guide it doesn't have anything for the writing or speaking and listening part of the language arts, disappointed. Is there any way you can add those?
I am soooo sorry! I am so glad you let me know that the writing objectives were missing! I have revised the product and it now has the writing objectives for the entire year. There are only two objectives, maybe three in some quarters, so as far as pacing these are just paced out by the quarter. As far as speaking and listening, have I never made a pacing guide for this section because I used a variety of these skills throughout the year, many times repeatedly. These objectives are more based on how you teach your lessons rather than having a specific lesson on the speaking/listening objective. A checklist might be more apropriate for these objectives. I will be glad to make one if you would like. Let me know what you think and I'll do what ever I can to help out. Thank you.
I have taught first grade for 5 and 1/2 years! Although, I am going to sadly miss it, because I am moving to 3rd grade this coming school year. I am excited to begin a new journey in 3rd grade!!
