Use this common and proper noun chart to assess students' understanding of the concept. They must fill in both common and proper nouns and remember to capitalize proper nouns. This chart also serves as a good way to reinforce some common geographical places such as cities, states, countries, etc. Please reinforce that spelling counts so it might require students to use resources such as a dictionary or atlas.
