- A Best Seller and it's newly updated with more slides and animated clipart! - This 17 slide interactive powerpoint covers comparing and contrasting, as well as when an author may be making a comparison. Students will love the vibrant pictures and custom animations. It is designed as a lecture, but has several interactive slides included a short interactive quiz. This Power Point is part of my Huge reading Power Point Resource Bundle CD 16 ppts in all!
I really liked this as a simple beginning to learning the skills involved in compare/contrast. It is nice to have visual examples. It is a bit easy for my 4th graders, but I'll use it to refocus on c/c for our upcoming writing assessment.

PowerPoint Maniac, I found a mistake in your powerpoint. On the first contrast slide, the word compare is used for the word contrast. Otherwise my students really enjoyed the presentation and stayed engaged with it.
