This fun unit covers common core standard RL 2.9 {Compare and contrast two or more versions of the same story (e.g., Cinderella stories) by different authors or from different cultures.} There are so many fun versions of The Three Little Pigs! Your students will love reading several different versions while learning how to master the common core standard of comparing and contrasting. I have chosen to focus on these 4 versions of the story, but I have designed the unit so that you can adapt for the versions you may already have.

I adore these activities. I actually used them as a part of my formal observation because I wanted to work on this skill. I didn't even know that this theme was my assistant principal's favorite! I just created double bubble maps since that is what we use to teach the strategy. The kids loved it!!!
