Really helpful resource. The projects and activities are really unique and engaging. Content is also very easy to adapt to my state's curriculum. I wish some of the projects were Word files instead of pdfs so I could edit them as needed.

Actually, everything you need for the first semester is in there from the plans to lectures to activities and more. Of course, I have many items in my store that would add to the course, such as more activities or games, but it is really all there!
It is just first semester, though. I also have second semester available. You may want to look at the units included with each to make sure you get the one that has your state requirements.

I am new to teaching World History and am trying to see if your plans will coincide with our standards before I purchase. Can you tell me in which unit you cover the Roman Empire and Byzantine Empires? Is there a unit for Islam and the Arab Empire? I guess I am asking if you can be a little more specific as to what is covered in each of your units (I apologize, but like I said, I am new to world history).

I do not include the tests because we are a common assessment standardized test state, and most of those I've created for my classes have been contributed to by my entire team! Sorry! But you will find this package to be filled with every student activity you can imagine to complete the semester! There are also cumulative activities in some units to serve the place for assessment! Daily assessment prompts are included in the lesson plans.
If you take a look at the thumbnail images, you can see the titles of all the activities you receive with this package.

I have taught all areas of Social Studies for eight years and English I-III for the past year. My experience ranges from teaching grades 6 through 12, and I have had all levels of classes, including Special Education collaboration and gifted and talented.
