This is a set of 7 custom written literature units to be used with the complete Harry Potter series by JK Rowling:
•Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
•Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
•Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
•Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
•Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
•Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
•Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Each unit is designed to be used with some student/instructor interaction. They can also be revised as an independent study for the student. The units can be slowed down or sped up as needed for the individual student. They are written for the 5-8th grade reading level.
These units work great in a one-on-one setting for home school or for a teacher to use as a resource in the classroom for a small group or entire class. The units are designed so that you can start teaching immediately with little to no preparation on your part. Great time saver!
Each unit contains:
•Teacher Packet containing detailed daily lesson plans, answer keys, and suggested curriculum connection activities.
•Student Packet containing vocabulary activities, comprehension questions, and extension activities that correlate with each book.
•An Assessment Packet that contains a vocabulary quiz, a comprehension quiz in both a short answer and multiple choice format, and a writing assessment.
•Common Core Standards Alignments for Grades 5-8.
•An After the Book Activity Packet that can be used with any book.

Subject Area:
I taught 4th & 6th grade in the Omaha Public Schools. After having my second child in 2002 I created The Teaching Bank as a way to stay connected to the education field.
