This project is designed specifically to research events and people in African American history who have contributed to the identity of AA's today. However, the steps are not specific to that topic. There are 27 pages which include discussion and examples of : Choosing a topic, creating a thesis statement, evaluating sources, creating a bibliography (including sample entries from dianahacker.com which is MLA), taking notes, in-text citations (also with samples), first draft, final draft, format and formal speech. All in MLA style. There are various graphic organizers. Clear presentation and easy for students to follow. A resource for all of their classes. Thank you for your consideration.
