Rhyming Word Sort - Sort the Rhyming Words into the 4 boxes. Independent Activity
Word Puzzler - Create words with the given letters and spelling patterns. Independent Activity
Word Builder - Join onset and rime to create words. Write words on the sheet. Independent Activity
Short vowel, Long vowel Word Sort - Cut out the words and identify the sound represented by the vowel. Sort into Short vowel box or Long vowel box. Independent Activity
Roll and Write - Roll the dice onto the word sheet. The word it lands on is recorded and the number on the dice tells what to do with the word. Independent Activity
Read the Room and Draw - Move around the room to find the Cards. Record the words on the cards and then draw pictures for the sentences that have been made.
Make a Rhyme - Read the sentence and complete the rhyme with a chosen word. Independent Activity
I Have Who Has? - Recognize and read short vowel words in this game for the Whole Class or a Small Group.
