This classroom tested BUNDLE PACK set of Reading Response Mats will have your students practicing all of the Comprehension strategies and skills they are learning throughout the year. By putting their thoughts down in writing, your students will be deepening their comprehension of the text you are reading.
The mats in here are the exact same ones that are in the two smaller packs (Strategy and then Skills) DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED THE OTHER TWO PACKS. Alternately, if you purchase this DO NOT buy the other packs. You only need one or the other!
In this download, there are several different sheets with two different strategies or skills on them. Each sheet is designed to get your students thinking about their reading and respond accordingly.
Strategies include (in two separate sections for each strategy):
Descriptive Language Use
These pages can be used for whole class discussions, during independent work, at centers, or for small group work. They are varied and allow for differentiation.
Very excited to use these for reading response. 2 things... #1- why/how do you utilize them as write & wipe? Do you see what students write (accountabilty/evaluation) before they get wiped clean? #2- I noticed on the character traits the word "site" should be "cite" text evidence.
I really like this product and want to purchase it, but for some reason, it will not allow me to add it to my cart or even to my wishlist. Any idea why?

Hello, I saw a blog post on pinterest that you did for OCB. Your post was about your reading strategy fans. I was unable to get the freebie of them from the post, I was wondering if you still had them available. ALso, do you still find them helpful or are your mats better? Thanks, Heather
They actually are both used for different thinking processes, so I do use both in my room. I am not sure why you aren't able to get the fans off the Google Doc. Email me at TeachinginRoom6@yahoo.com and let's see what we can do about that.
