Use these posters to help you introduce each of the comprehension strategies to your students. I plan on laminating and posting them in my reading corner on a bulletin board.
What a great packet, thanks for taking the time to create it and share!

Love! But the words were blurred. All my software is up to date including Adobe. What could it be? I'd love to print these and use them in my classroom.

These are great posters! I really like them, and would love to have been able to use them. The only thing I would like to ask you to consider is that the characters are all Caucasian. Because of this, I will not be able to use them in my classroom. :-( They are really neat posters, though.
Oh no! I updated these on my blog, but I didn't update them at my shop. Please re-download to grab the updated multicultural posters. I was waiting for the graphic artist to make multicultural ones. I apologize!!! :)

Hello! After I downloaded this printable (which is stinking awesome by the way), I noticed there are some black lines on many of the pages. Is there any way for me to remove them? Thanks!!
Are you on a MAC? If so, here's a suggestion from another person. I hope this helps!!!!
"This sometimes happens when PDFs are opened in the Mac's native PDF program ('Preview') instead of Adobe Reader. So you'll need to open this with the latest Adobe Reader which can be downloaded from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/
IMPORTANT PART! :) Don't open the file by clicking on it (as this will automatically open it with Preview). Instead, launch Adobe Reader then go to 'File'-->'Open...', and select the PDF that way."

Thank you for the posters!! I will be posting them on a bulletin board as I introduce each strategy. I was wondering, however, if you have one for predicting? I teach first grade as well, and this is a strategy I plan to teach. If not, would you be willing to make one? I am willing to pay if necessary. :)
I am working on creating one now. I will upload it to my TPT shop (for free) tonight or tomorrow. :)

HI, I am trying to download your posters on reading strategies and my adobe is not up to date and won't show all the words. It seems to work if I get it through email as an attachment if you don't mind sending it to me that way. Thank you so much. esshorey@gmail.com
It sounds like you may need to download the newest version of Adobe. I've heard that can be a problem sometimes from other sellers. Or, if you'd like, I could e-mail you the file to see if that works.
Here is the link to get the newest version of adobe:

I love these posters! I do a unit on Analyzing Characters (internal/external traits, how characters change over time, main vs. secondary, etc.) Do you have a poster that works with this? Thanks!
Your posters are awesome, but I too have downloaded the latest version of adobe, and there are still black lines all over the posters. Could you email them to me? staceycaffey@me.com

I love your comprehension strategy posters!! Very creative! However, every time I download them there is a black line through parts of the posters. Do you have any suggestions? What am I doing wrong? Help! :)
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that. It sounds like you may need to download the newest version of Adobe. I've heard that can be a problem sometimes from other sellers. Or, if you'd like, I could e-mail you the file to see if that works.

I downloaded your Comprehension Strategies Posters and they are great! I was wondering if you could add one for "Determining Importance". It is a strategy in Debbie Miller's Reading With Meaning book and we are using that at my school. If not is there a way I can tweak one of yours that I already downloaded? Thanks!

Hi Lyndsey,
I am a Kindergarten teacher in Sydney, Australia and I LLOOVVVEEE your comprehension strategy posters! I was wondering if it's possible to please get a copy with 'visualising', 'summarising' ('organise' on the summarising poster) and 'synthesising' spelt with an 's' instead of a 'z'? We spell them with an 's' in Australia and I can't use them in my room with the 'z'. I hope you are able to help because I think the posters are adorable!!
Thank you
Maegan

Do you mind making this with multicultural kids in it?
Hi there! This is something that is very frustrating for me. I have looked all over the internet for multicultural clip art, and the ONLY website that I've found is Scrappin' Doodles (which requires you to buy a $40 license when giving away products for free). My spouse is an amazing artist and is currently working on some diverse clip art for me. He is wonderful! I've also e-mailed other artists requesting more multicultural clip art. It's very frustrating! I apologize. I will update the downloads when other options become available. Thank you so much!!!

Do you happen to have a clean copy of the posters? When I pull up the PDF there are black streaks on it. Thanks!!!
Hi everyone! My name is Lyndsey. I am a first grade (third year) teacher. Teaching first grade is magical! I love being a part of my students growth and progress as they experience many of their "firsts" in life.
