I bought this product but I'm very confused as to how to use it. There is no plan of what to do first, second, third, etc. when it comes to the learning activities. I need clarification becausue this is not a comprehensive unit, but from what I can tell just a few pdfs thrown together.
Thanks so much for your question of clarification. There is an Understanding by Design plan in the file, for your use. As I taught this unit this spring (we're actually in the middle of it now!), I've realized some problems with some of the websites. In light of that, I'm going to be releasing an update within the next week. The update will include a detailed outline of how the unit should operate day-to-day. If you wouldn't mind, please stay tuned. I'll send out a TPT message when the files are updated. Thank you!!!

What program do you use to open the Notebook files?
The Notebook files are forthe program Smart Notebook. Smart Notebook is the file used with Smart Boards. It can be downloaded for free from www.smarttech.com :)
I am in my sixth year teaching, and I have been fortunate enough to teach every year in fifth grade. For the past five years, I've been teaching all of the Reading and Language Arts for my team. It's a big load, but I love it!
