This is a PowerPoint I used to teach the importance of character to my students using the teachings of Confucius. Each slide contains a quote from Confucius and then I have the students write what they believe each one means. Next, we discuss them as a class and I make sure they completely understand the quote and then as a class we think of examples in their own life today that each quote would apply to.
At the end of the lesson there are a few funny Confucius quotes that the students will enjoy (if they get them). For example: "Man who leap off cliff jump to conclusions." or "Time flies like an arrow....Fruit flies like bananas."
