The perfect culminating activity for your communities unit. Students work in teams to create a urban, suburban, or rural community. They must use what they've learned in social studies to include the community's goods and services, as well as its natural, capital, and human resources. They can use the included checklist/rubric to help them keep on track. Once students have done the thinking in this packet, they will be ready to create their community with paper or boxes. Great long-term project that encourages collaboration and creativity!
Thanks, this helped me add to my own communities project.

Is this just a 4 page keynote presentation? Having a hard time trying to just print it. The first page has part of the word "Construction" over it, so you can't even use it

I liked that this came in a format (ppt) that I could change to fit the different needs of the unit I was teaching. Great graphics and organization. Thank you.
