Contact is a strategy game in which 2-4 players roll three dice and create equations with answers that are on the Contact Board. The object of the game is to touch as many other players' squares as possible in order to receive the most points. The game can be simplified by allowing the players to use just two to four operations, or it can be made more challenging by requiring that the players correctly use the order of operations. It is a fun and attention-grabbing way for students to practice basic math facts and to use critical thinking without doing another "drill and kill" activity.

Yes, teacher instructions are necessary as this is a math strategy game. However, once the students understand how to play it, your input will not be needed.
