This is an 11 slide powerpoint that presents steps for understanding new words in context. The main focus of the lesson is a modeled practice activity to think aloud how to figure out word meaning in a passage presented in the powerpoint. This powerpoint can be used alone, but it is more effective in combination with my other context clues products: Context Clues Power Point Unit, Context Clues Anchor Poster, and Using Context Clues Worksheets.
