This printable worksheet is used for students to practice the idea of using t-charts to help convert linear measurement. I have included a conversion chart at the top of the paper to help with the converstions made on the sheet. I use this skill sheet with my third graders, and although they only need to do simple conversions at this age, all of the basic information is included on the sheet, so it simpy helps them understand what it means to convert. On this particular sheet, I tell them to put the largest unit on the left side of the chart. Have them trace the lines to form the actual T of the t-chart. This will help them when they later do it on their own without a pre-made table. The first few t-charts on the worksheet are already labeled, but the students will work towards labeling them on their own.
