I only used the synonym and antonym part of this center to begin exposure to analogies with my fourth graders. However, they did well with it. The only thing I thought was less-than-perfect was that they could match the word pairs easily based on the corresponding title piece. Other than that, they loved it. Thank you.
Additional response: The kids quickly realized that if the word pairs had a "ketchup and mustard" picture, it must belong to the title piece with the ketchup and mustard. Likewise, they were able to figure out that the cards with a hamburger and hot dog belonged to the title card with a hamburger and hotdog. This is not a huge problem necessarily, but it was funny how quickly they discovered this.

Not So Wimpy Resources (TpT Seller)
Thanks for the feedback. I am not quite sure I understand what you mean in regard to your students easily matching the word pairs. I did include title cards with correspondng images on each set of analogies. This was because this particular game includes a variety of ways to sort analogies with different sets of cards. I wanted to give students and teachers an easy way to keep the game organized. If you would like the game without the pictures in the corner, feel free to email me @ notsowimpyteacher and I can send you the resource without the pictures.
