I am sure that your students are much like mine and struggle with the concept of fractions. I felt that my students needed daily practice with fractions. With this in mind, I created the "Fraction of the Day". This allows students the daily practice of the skills in the common core standards for fractions.
The packet contains 60 pages with a Fraction of the Day. There is also a blank sheet for you to create your own fractions for the Fraction of the Day if you so desire.
The daily practice with fractions will help your students master the following skills:
-identifying the numerator and denominator
-adding and subtracting fractions
-drawing models to represent fractions
-changing improper fractions to mixed numbers
-multiplying fractions by whole numbers
The Fraction of the Day sheets are perfect as bell ringers, morning work, or math centers.
It would be great to have unlike denominators or mixed numbers to differentiate this!

I love this template for fractions! I use it for morning work because it is quick and easy to review everyday. Using this has helped my students to develop a deep understanding of fractions. Excellent resource!
I think this will go perfectly with my new math board!

Wonderful. We were doing a decimal a day worksheet earlier in the school year and this looks similar, so my students are used to working on this type of daily practice! For the last teacher who needs to cut down on paper: Use the blank form you provided, laminate and have the kids fill in the decimal info. themselves each day from the master displayed by the teacher. It is not ideal, but a way to cut back on paper.

This is exactly what I needed right now. Thanks so much. Now, If I can only figure out how to use it with less paper involved.
