This great printable clock will help you choose student partners easily and painlessly! Give students time to find partners and put their partner's name on their clock. I always model the appropriate way to ask, "Suzy, would you like to be my 1:00 partner?" Then I would write Suzy's name in my 1:00 spot and Suzy would write my name in her 1:00 spot.
Use all the spots for older kiddos, or just some of the spots for others. Clocks can be taped to desks and used for months, cutting down the time you spend pairing up students. Now all you have to do is say, "Find your 1:00 partner!"
