Here's a throw-back to the fortune tellers we all grew up with. Now known as Cootie Catchers, teachers can now use them for educational purposes while still having fun! Just follow the directions on the last page to make the Cootie Catcher. This catcher has the students identifying statements, commands, questions, and exclamations. There are three different catchers included with this item. The first studies statements and commands. The second works on questions and exclamations. I also included a mixed practice catcher that has the students identifying all four types of sentences. For added fun, let your students color the catcher before cutting out. Check out my other catchers! Thanks for looking! Stacy Mickelson

I have been teaching for 10 years. I taught 3 of those years in the Chicago area. I am now teaching in the very school that I attended as an elementary and high school student. It is exciting to be teaching the children of old classmates!
