A lesson plan template created by Sarah Allred, for classroom lesson plans in Science, Social Studies, or other subjects which must also address the Common Core State Standards Literacy Standards. The template may be used for any grade level K-12. Includes for no charge as quick reference format of the CCSS Literacy Standards.
The template includes spaces for the teacher to address the standard, and cluster being taught as well as revised Blooms verbs, 6 shifts in literacy, 21st Century Learner skills, student grouping, differentiation, and technology use. It also includes space for Esssential Questions or I Can statements and a lesson's Big Idea. This template is a MS Word form. It can be printed and filled in by hand, or the gray fields can be typed in and then saved and/or printed out.

I have taught for 15 years at the 6th grade level. I am currently working as the Instructional Lead Teacher at my Middle School. I am certified K-6, and have taught Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. I am National board Certified in Early Adolescent English Language Arts. I have a Masters in Instructional Technology.
