As a native Costa Rican- some of the items mentioned are labeled incorrectly...such as carro de bueyes instead of carreta de bueyes...or bananas in place of bananos...and having turtles grouped with el Volcan Poas- when the turtles are on the Carribean coast and the Volcan Poas is in the Meseta Central (middle of the country). :(

Thank you for the comments. We have traveled to CR numerous times and have both seen and heard carreta and carro de bueyes. Also, as you know, bananas are the fruit and bananos are the tree. We were labeling the fruits. The turtles are on that slide not to insinuate that they are living in the volcano, but as a point of interest to discuss with students. I am sure you meant to say thank you for the FREE ppt that you can modify and use as you wish instead of just to criticize. :0)

A few images were low-resolution (low dpi), reducing clarity. I like the sound effects, although some of the music gets repetitive. A nice variety of animal photos.

We have also directed Spanish Camp for elementary students for many years. We are published authors and Spanish text editors and evaluators. We are also both Nationally Board Certified Teachers (WLOE).
