Here is a spring-themed game that will give your K-1 students lots of practice counting up and counting back on the numberline.
Your students read a card from the set of 36 clue cards, follow the directions, and "cover those carrots" by using a wipe-off marker to make an X on their own numberline. The first player to have 5 Xs in a row wins!
Game assembly is simple: print on cardstock, cut apart, and laminate for durability. There�¢ï¿½ï¿½s even a label for your storage container! Ideal for your math centers or math tubs.
*NOTE This game is included in the larger set of math games, Here Comes Mr. Cottontail, also available at my TPT store.

I've been teaching for 26 years, with the majority of my experience being in first grade. I taught Reading Recovery for 5 years, and that experience has impacted every day of my teaching since! For the past 10 years, I've enjoyed teaching a first grade literacy intervention class.
