This download is for a full lesson plan and rubric outlining a Health activity for students to create their own menu! This outlines all of the common core standards for Health in the 4th grade and has all of the information students will need to create their healthy, yet delicious restaurant menus! Students are required to create a restaurant name and a full menu including appetizers, entree's and desserts! The rubric will help your students remember everything they should include on their menus! Students are also required to write descriptive language outlining their dishes and come up with reasonable prices to include on thieir menus. After the menus are created, have students exhange their menus and order from each other's restaurants! This activity covers a variety of concepts and will allow creativity amongst your students!
