Do you love The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle? Well here's an activity that goes along with this amazing book. Students can each pick an insect or animal instead of a ladybug and fill in the blanks to create their own version. This is also great for time since students will create a clock for each page to match the time. Students also get to create drawings for each page. I always bind the books to make it more like a published book for the kids.
