Have your students create their own crossword puzzle out of their vocab words. Have them put the definitions in the bottom box, and fill in the vocab word in the crossword above. This template also works well for word searches under the same method.

As a New York State teacher of 6 years, I have come to truly understand the requirements of modern-day education. Currently a high school teacher of grades 9,11, 12, I do have experience in grades 6, 7, and 8. A 1 students to 1 computer initiative in my classroom, and the use of the latest modern technology, sets the bar in my school for 21st century learning.
