This test is a cumulative short story exam which took me several hours to make. The test includes 48 short answer questions and covers The Cask of Amontillado, The Most Dangerous Game, The Scarlet Ibis, The Gift of the Magi, and The Necklace. Moreover, it has several higher-order thinking skills questions. I use it in my ninth grade English I Honors class.

This lesson provides question anyone could have easily gathered from the stories. It is strictly the questions, no answers no multiple choice etc. It is not represented well in the explanation of what you are buying.

Catnaps
These are all very basic informational questions. There are few, if any, higher order thinking skills and no questions using literary devices or literary elements. In addition, there is no vocabulary work. It was a big disappointment.
