This is very cute. Unfortunately I'd never come across this game and wasn't sure how to play it but a Google search turned up the instructions.

Very cute!! My pre-k students will love playing this game! It will be easy to adapt for different ability levels too! I can give a challenge to students by having them say the letter sound instead of the letter name and I can change the number of numbers I use also.

I'm not positive about how to play the game (seen several of these Roll, Say, Keep) and I could make up my own rules but explicit directions would be helpful. Also useful for other games/concept practice such as ABC/numerical order; matching upper/lower case letters; spelling sight words; skip counting.

These are so cute. I've started tutoring children who are not keeping pace with the others in class. I've played fast paced dice games for addition/subtraction (GR 1) and as long as I work quickly they stay focused. But I'm wondering if you know if having cute graphics makes a difference in how well they might retain the information as well as keep them focused? Thanks.

Thank you so much for this freebie. My students tried this out last week and loved it. Do you have a powerpoint version so that you could add HF words or learn vocabulary words for the week?
I would also love it if you could include blank game cards in the same shape as the numbers and letter sets.
I have played both ways. It is such a versatile game...you can play however you would like. Most of the time, I do have them put a new word on...I want them to go through all of the words :-)
I have been a teacher for 15 years. I taught early childhood special education for 9 years. I am currently teaching Kindergarten! This is my 7th year of teaching Kindergarten at the best elementary school in Nebraska! :-)
