A-Z plus special characters , diphthongs and common consonant clusters with a German word and images (tried to rely on culturally valuable images).
Features also the German "sound" of a letter in comparison to the sound in an (equivalent or close) English word to help students get a better feel and understanding of how German sounds differ/are like.

I use it as a review not to introduce the alphabet!

Also I made it for College Students, so if using it in High School or lower you need to swap images/words that are more of interest to younger students and children.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching 2008 - present Assistant Instructor Germanic Studies Department, University of Texas at Austin I prepare, teach, evaluate and grade as the primary instructor. I do not have a TA. There are 4 sections of this class and I serve as the Section Head. The duties of the Section Head include facilitating coordination meetings and mentoring all section instructors, share and organize material, help design exams, and discuss concerns, problems etc. Currently teaching: GER 612 Second Year Accelerated German Taught in the past: GER 506 First Semester German GER 507 Second Semester German GER 312K Third Semester German GER 312L Fourth Semester German GER 612 Second Year Accelerated German Adjunct Instructor Department of Modern Languages, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton/TX I am the only German instructor at the University working within the Department of Modern Foreign Languages. I am currently in the process of restructuring and changing the curriculum design because my precursor had a completely different teaching style. Taught in the past: GER 1410 First Semester German GER 1420 Second Semester German GER 2110 Third Semester German GER 2120 Fourth Semester German Private German Instructor serving students from the greater Austin Area/TX I design Individualized study/learning plans according to language level, time and individual needs. Academic Tutor with Encompass Tutorial Services in Austin, TX I work with High School students on their goal setting, organization and time management skills. 2008-2011 Assistant Instructor Department of Germanic Studies, UT Austin/TX July 2010 Volunteer Instructor, Early Childhood German, German Free School, Austin/TX I developed interactive material and taught children of heritage speakers. (Saturday school, 8 students, 6–8 years old) 2009 Volunteer Assistant for Dr Somerholter, German Film Class, at St. Edwards University, Austin/TX (Spring 2009, 8 students) I helped facilitate the film screenings and engage discussions with the students when Dr Somerholter was traveling. 2007-2008 Teaching Assistant, Mt. Holyoke College, South Hadley/MA I taught the language lab, offered in addition to the regular language course, taken by the professor.
