Once you have established your routine for the Daily 5 (or Daily 3) your students can begin to manage their own rotation choices. Students keep this form in their reading folder and can check off which activities they did that day. I have my students do 3 rotations, plus 1 with me. So each day they will check off the ones they have done. This prevents them from returning to the same choice over and over.
