This resource contains a full year's worth of daily bell work, organized by month, from August to June, with a short "Summer" section for classes involved in full year schooling.
The activities are a mix of academic and creative tasks, with some prompts adapted from state and provincial tests. Topics covered include: grammar, spelling, punctuation, writing, number sense, fractions, geometry, patterning, algebra, measurement, money, and geometry, among others. These tasks are meant to review and reinforce key concepts of the 6th grade curriculum. An answer key is provided for each month's tasks.
Please be aware that while this resource is meant for use in American classrooms, a Canadian version (with appropriate spelling and measurement units) is also available in my TPT store!

I have taught in Ontario schools since 1986, teaching in Junior Kindergarten up to Grade 5, as well as in Special Education.. For the 2012-2013 school year I will be a Numeracy Facilitator within my board, working with teachers and students in a variety of classrooms and schools.
