I use this to enhance communication between home and school. My students use a planner as well this document daily. It is a checklist filled with things like silent read, practice basic facts, and other things for the week like field trip on Friday. I change this dates and the checks weekly as needed in my classroom. It has been a very effective tool and keeps everyone on the same track while building independent working habits.

Hello! I have been an elementary teacher for six years. My first year, I taught math and computers to third, fourth, and fifth graders. I have spent the last three years teaching fourth grade and fifth grade. I am loving every minute of it. I have also worked in a pre-kindergarten class for three years.
