The intent with these pages is independent review of key math skills taught in kinder and first. These packets are mostly geared toward first grade, but high kinder and low second graders would benefit from the skills in this packet in a small group or differentiated time of class.
The pages keep the same structure throughout the different packets, but the skills and themes change to keep the interest high.
I use these as my morning work as well as review at the beginning of my math block.
I have a matching complete daily language set that compliments this set. I run daily math on the front and daily language on the back and my students complete one page daily.

For some reason, many of the pages in the math packet have these rectangular shaped black spots all over them. I tried downloading the set again and the same thing is happening. Has this happened to anyone else before? I love the packet. I just wish those black spots weren't there.

I purchased Daily Math 6 sometime last year and found a couple of items that need re-edited. On page 1, where the flower is, 2+5 is written there twice and on page 18, the tree in a sack, the answer should be 2/4 but only 2/5 is there. I was wondering do you do a form of calendar math in addition to the Daily Math? I cannot make calendar math fit into my schedule and I would like it to work but it just isn't. I need something to do in lieu of it and this seems perfect!

I do calendar on the smartboard and there are a series of slides that we go through. It takes about 15 minutes total once they get good at what to do. My calendar slides were all found free on the smart exchange. If you are looking for a daily calendar page, I have one for free on my blog, but it goes with the smartboard files.
