I am not pleased at all with this product. A total waste of money. Not clear at all about the emergent readers and i felt very misleading. When asked questions it was like pulling teeth to get some helpful answers.
Superb resources. I'm using the resources at home to reinforce and further build on what my son is being taught at school. Thank you for sharing your creativity and experience.
Great math journal! Thanks. I'm following you now. I'm a newbie seller. (1 week) If you have time I'd appreciate your feedback on my free product. Thanks in advance. Continued success.

I love this Math Journal! How do I get the monthly themed prompts? Also, do you have this idea for other grade levels, preferrably First Grade? Thanks
Hi Jessica, Most of my journal prompts are geared towards kindergarten skills. Anna Brantley is a wonderful 1st grade teacher and she has some that are similar to mine. Do you want to check hers out? I think you will really like them. Sorry!

Hi.
I like your materials and they are so insightful. I was just wondering how often you do your math journals...daily or 2-3 times a week? Also how much time do you give them to work on it or do you use it as an opener to your math time?
I would appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks.

Hi there! Great question. I try to get math journals in 2-3 times a week. I also use my rocket numbers for handwriting practice (this is free at my store). So when I am not doing math journals, I am doing the Rocket Numbers (hope that makes sense). I have a 15 minute slot of time that I have my students pack up and do one of these activities. At the beginning of the year we really have to push to get it done, but as the year progresses, they do better at getting them done. They usually have about 10 minutes to do their journals. It is meant to be a quick draw.
Because of the way my day is broken up, math journals/rocket numbers is not part of my math block.
I am so excited about your daily math prompts. I have already gotten started making the journals for my students this year! Can't wait to find out when your next prompts are posted!
Thank you!!! My plan is to make monthly packs. Then teachers can dip in when they are wanting some new prompts. I should have my Aug/Sep ones posted by Friday:-)
