Most of the names are locked but movable. For those not locked then just double click and you can delete/type in a name. If you double click on the name and you see a lock on the right hand corner then click on the lock and click on unlock. After it is unlocked then double click and revise the name. If you want to lock the name then click on the name and you should see a downward triangle. Then click on the triangle and click on lock and click on allow move.

The student press on their name and drag it inside the house. If you have little ones that has a hard time then they can use a round tip pointer to move their name as well as the erase end of a pencil. Hope this answers your answer. Hope you and your kids enjoy it .
