This project was designed for my English IV-Honors class but could be adapted for any student reading the Inferno.
Students are grouped and assigned cantos to read and present on. This is an extensive project that will force them to cover EVERYTHING in the book. Essentially, they will be teaching each other the novel. Aside from some background that you may want to give them you will sit back and watch their work ethic and hopefully produce some good discussion from their presentations.
In block scheduling I gave them a week to read their cantos and 2 class periods to work with their partner in the computer lab. The presentations took about 10 minutes per group.
