This is a data collection chart to monitor the frequency of up to 3 target behaviors using interval recording (spaces are blank to record duration of behavior as well, or to record interval observed - depending on your needs). The chart includes clear directions in order to allow for multiple observers (assuming the behavior is defined clearly!). In addition, there are spaces to note antecedent and immediate consequences to observed behaviors. The chart is meant to be personalized to define each behavior being observed.
This chart has been used successfully to record frequency data in both regular and special education settings. It has also been used by individual aides and PCAs while shadowing specific students.
Download is in Excel format to allow for personalization.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I spent 9 years as a special education teacher within public school districts teaching learning support in elementary school, middle school, and vocational high school. After having children, I decided to work as a Behavior Specialist Consultant, specializing in working with children under the age of 10, many on the autistic spectrum. I have experience with a wide variety of special needs in both learning support and emotional support. In addition, all of my materials were created and used within a regular education setting and are therefore approachable and allow for differentiation.
