This is a list of book projects that students can do independently after reading Dear Mr. Henshaw. The projects are based on Multiple Intelligences, with a project from each. Example categories include: Word Smart, Art Smart, People Smart, etc. This is a great way for all students to share their comprehension of the book based on the intelligence they are most comfortable with. I have used these at the end of the novel. Can be sent home as homework as well, however I choose to have them complete them in class to get a true picture of their ability.
This is an extremely useful tool! I plan to make a unit and link back to this. One suggestion I'd make is that this could be generic for ANY book, in the classroom or at home. It's awesome. It also goes great with the free MI quiz that Laura Candler offers. Thank you!

This is my 13th year teaching. I have taught 3rd grade for 3 years and the remaining years I have been in 4th. LOVE my job, as difficult as it can be sometimes. I can not see myself doing anything else.
