This flipchart has a total of seven slides for guided practice. The students are required to write the decimal in written form, illustrate the model, and convert to fraction. At the end of the flipchart there is a link to an activity the students can do with a partner, you could use as a great assessment tool.

I used this in my classroom during a lesson while I was being formally observed by my Prinicipal for my end of year evaluation. The lesson went great! The flipchart is exactly what I was hoping to make, but it would have taken me forever, so I'm so thankful that you created it.

I taught two years in fourth grade and loved every minute of it. I'm taking a new leap and jumping into the library! I'm very excited about this adventure! Be on the lookout for a lot of reading activities from K-5 :)
