The National Guard Deployment and Support Survey is a reliable and valid instrument that informs National Guard Family Program Division and State Family Program personnel of service membersâ and family membersâ knowledge of important information and resources that are available through their State Family Program that improve family readiness. Data gathered from the survey shows how well the information and resources available meet the needs of National Guard families throughout the phases of deployment and helps state leadership and State Family Program personnel focus their efforts on the resources, training, and communication necessary to meet those needs.
This survey is intended for National Guard service members and their families. It is accessible via the guardfamily.org website and may be given before, during, and after deployment.
