Use these 22 pages of half sheets to practice descriptive writing
and writing sight words with your students. Students
can color the image or make observations about each
image and complete the sentence using adjectives. As
your students perfect this skill they can create their
own sentences without using the sentence frame. Incorporate
common core standards by encouraging students
to write and opinion about the image.
Example:
I see a happy snowman.
I like my snowman.
because he is happy.

KFUNdamentals is a program started by us (Palma and Sarah) two kindergarten teachers. Combined we have over 40 years of teaching experience in all grade levels, but our specialty is in Kindergarten...that is where our hearts lie. In the past, we were always looking for fun ways to teach the standards and keep our students engaged; we created some materials and wanted to share the fun ideas that we have designed with other teachers.
