This is a two-day activity I use with my junior high and first year Spanish students on Dia de los Muertos. It has 17 informational questions and one essay-response question about the holiday.
The information is found on two different websites, and the links are included on the worksheets. I use laptops or a computer lab with the students, however it can be done without technology, if needed. Both webpages can be printed and the students can read "hard copies" to get the same information. I had to do this with a few students who did not have permission to access the interned.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Subject Area:
I have taught for eleven years in a variety of grade levels and socio-economic levels. I have enjoyed all grade levels that I have taught, and am enjoying my current work in Junior High! I have a B.S.I.S. from Midwestern State University and a Master's in Technology Integration from Nova Southeastern University. I have also worked as a Campus Technology Integration Facilitator, and have presented at local and regional conferences. I enjoy working with peers and students! They both provide new sets of challenges.
