This project introduces students to DiÂa de los Muertos and explains the differences between this Mexican holday and Halloween. The culmination to this project is that students create an altar out of paper for a deceased person and write their descripton of the person using the preterit or imperfect tense. Step-by-step instructions are given to complete this project. A grading rubric has also been provided.
