I love all of your products but I purchased thinking this would be a good fit for my students. Unfortunately, it isn't. The activities are creative and fun but too primary for my students. I wish I had known and I wouldn't have purchased for my class, I would have just recommended this to one of my primary teacher friends. I would recommend if this ever was edited to add all fact families in the triangles, to have more advanced times on the clock (say 11:43am), to add division flash cards, and to add larger numbers to the number wheel (more place value digits) or to have the ability to change that to decimals. Then I think this pack would hit the students exiting the primary grades.

Hey! I am obsessed with your TpT shop! I am always looking at your stuff. I am very interested in this Summer Practice packet. I see the packet is huge with lots of pages- which is great! I am wondering if you know about how many pages per student it would be to print/copy? You print the games for each student to make, correct? My school is really running low on paper and so I am curious how much paper it would use per student?

It really depends on how many games you want to use. I usually print a master and then copy after that. Could you ask the parents to donate a ream of paper? It definitely would not take a whole ream per student, but that may help with the cost. Just an idea! Let me know if you need anything else! Thanks so much for being so supportive!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this dig into learning unit...........but I'm ending the year with a camping theme......any ideas on how I could use your unit to adapt it to "camping"....ps. I purchased several of your unit and have been very pleased......my favorite though is the Mo Willems author study.......

During my short teaching career, I have never stayed in one place too long! :) I've been teaching for six years - 4 years in 1st grade,1 year in 2nd, and have now moved on to 3rd grade just this year. Looping has presented many challenges, but I have enjoyed all of the wonderful experiences that this model of teaching can offer. I adore my job and am always looking for ways to improve my instruction in the classroom. I have quickly learned that when you make learning magical, that is when it truly sticks for the "long haul".
