Digging Letters and Making words is an engaging end of the school year center! To get excited for summer and the beach, you can put letter tiles in a beach pail and provide a shovel to "dig" the letter tiles.
Included:
-A work mat to put the letter tiles on
-Student center directions
-8 recording sheets, with varying letter tile spaces and number of columns to sort the words
-3 writing sentences extension papers, with 2, 3, or 4 sentences to write
**The pages are in both in color and black and white for those of you who don't print in color.**

Do you think you could make a version of your "Digging Letters and Making Words" that is a little easier for PreK & Kinder (or perhaps I should say more "directed" and specific)? For example, students would have a choice of different sight words (pre-primer & primer) on the page and they would have to see how many they could spell with their letters. Just thought I'd ask!
