This prehistoric pack is filled with math and literacy centers perfect for your 7-9th month first graders! {You could also use it for beginning of the year 2nd graders OR advanced kindergartners, of course.}

Literacy Centers:
- Dinosaur Descriptions (read sentence & match to pic)
- Stone Age Parts of Speech (sort nouns, verbs, adjectives)
- Prehistoric Punctuation (sort asking, telling, and exclamatory sentences)
- Dino-Rhyme (matching pairs of rhyming words; each word starts with blend)
- Ancient ABC Order (alphabetizing)
- I Love Dinosaur Books (reading center response sheet)
- Lined and lined/dotted story paper for writing center (use words from ABC order)
Math Centers:
- Mesozoic Measurement (measuring dinos - you choose the unit)
- Dino Dice (roll a die and add to a number 20-40)
- Stone Age Story Problems Mini-book (+ and -; #s less than 20)
- Missing Numbers (use a 120s chart to find the missing number)
- Back in Time (hour and half hour)
- Dinosaur Dig (graphing)

Awesome job!!! Would you be willing to make a set of larger cards for the alphabet sort? I would like to use them as vocab cards I could put on my bulletin board. Also would you consider the balckand white recording sheets in color? I would like to laminate them and have the children write on them with a dry erase marker.
This packet is really well done, I can not wait to use it withmy students.

On page 57 (the graphing activity) the words "number of objects" are on top of the graph, instead of along the side. I'm sure it's a quick and easy fix for you. I aboslutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this set of centers. They couldn't be more perfect to go along with the skills I want my kids working on at this time of the year. You ALWAYS make such amazing things!!!! :-) Thanks for your help ... let me know if/when you are able to fix it ... I can't wait to start printing!!!
