My dinosaur SmartBoard Lesson contains pages for Language Arts activities and Science Activities.
The language arts portion has interactive pages to read and learn about dinos, a video link to a dinosaur song, a graph (which dino do you want to learn about?), a silly dinosaur poem, and various website links!
The Science portion first focuses on learning about habitats through a video link and website links (interactive activities). Students will enjoy learning about dinosaur habitats through interactive pages (pop the balloon) and then creating their own dinosaur habitat. Finally, they'll explore dinosaur bones and fossils through interactive website activities. The unit concludes with a writing activity.
A teacher's notes page (lesson plan) is also included. Your primary classes will LOVE learning about dinosaurs with this Smartboard Lesson!

I L.O.V.E. the Smartboard lessons that Lisa creates! This one is no exception. We just started studying dinosaurs yesterday. I have already used 8 of Lisa's Smartboard pages. My students are enthralled! I love the way Lisa creates a variety of pages for her lessons. She does a beautiful job incorporating web resources also, whether they be songs or games. I highly recommend this unit!
